
Marching
straight out of
The band is a
community of 15 musicians, combining brass, reed and percussion instruments.
Delivering with such an acoustic might, these guys can play almost anywhere. On
stage or on the street, marching or dancing, the
strong friendship
among the members seems to bring out the true happiness found in music.
Among other numerous places, Marsh Dondurma
have performed at the renowned Israel
Festival, the Akko International Theater Festival,
the Bat-Yam Street Art Festival, the Shuni Jazz
Festival and regularly in various music clubs around the country. This year
they held their first visit to a European festival playing at the notorious Guca Trumpet Festival in
Following the successful release of their debut album on
2005, they are standing now on the verge of their second studio album, making
way for exploration of new musical ideas and old traditions. In their repertoire,
Marsh Dondurma combine
traditional ethnic music from around the world with their own original tunes
expanding these influences towards Jazz and Funk. They leave no one out,
playing gypsy traditional, Jewish klezmer, Latin
beats, Middle Eastern tunes and more.
